Our Managing Editor: Cal Hunter, DC, DRS

 

 

            Dr. Hunter is a retired pastor and Director of Missions for Northwestern Baptist Association, Woodward, Oklahoma.  Retiring from fulltime ministry in 1991, he served as bi-vocational pastor for Highway Baptist Church, Seminole, Oklahoma, for eleven years before retiring completely April 30, 2006.

            He has written for several newspapers, Baptist periodicals, ham radio, and computer magazines.

            Graduating with a BA degree from Oklahoma Baptist University, he did postgraduate and graduate studies at Oklahoma State University and Southeastern Oklahoma University before spending two years of graduate studies in clinical psychology at Baylor University.  He then attended four years of medical school at Carver Chiropractic College where he earned his DC degree.  After eight years of clinical practice, he was called into gospel ministry.  

            In 2004, Hunter decided to go back to school and enrolled in a doctoral program at Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana.  After three years of intensive study, research, and writing, he was awarded the Doctor of Religious Studies Degree, August 4, 2007.

            Dr. Hunter's dissertation, Evidence of Intelligent Design in Human Physiology, has been published in book format and is available for sale in major bookstores and online at Amazon.com.               

           Hunter is a ham radio operator and an airplane pilot with instrument rating and 1500-plus hours of flying time.  He is also an avid photographer.  He and his wife Jean live in Prague, Oklahoma.
